Typeface Guidelines

Trademark Usage Policy
This Trademark Usage Policy will show you the proper use of Bandlink trademarks and logos. USE THE CORRECT SYMBOL
When using a Bandlink trademark in text form ("Bandlink Mark") use the correct ® symbol, on the most prominent (or if none is prominent, the first) appearance of a Bandlink Mark.

DO NOT ALTER Bandlink MARKS OR Bandlink LOGOS
When using a Bandlink Mark, never vary the spelling, add or delete hyphens, make one word two, or use a possessive or plural form of the Bandlink Mark. When using a Bandlink logo, never modify the design, add or delete any words, or change the proportions. Note:The logo colors may be changed to accomodate a background other than white.

DO NOT ABBREVIATE A Bandlink MARK TO CREATE AN ACRONYM
Examples of incorrect use:
BL instead of Bandlink®
CDI instead of CD Intelligence®

ALWAYS USE Bandlink MARKS AS PROPER ADJECTIVES
A trademark is an adjective and should not be used as a verb or noun or in the possessive or plural forms. Every Bandlink Mark has a "product descriptor" (i.e. a noun) that follows the trademark.
Examples:
Bandlink® software
CD Intelligence® technology

PRODUCT PACKAGING
Special attention should be devoted to the correct use of Bandlink Marks and Bandlink logos on product packaging. Any Bandlink Mark that is displayed on packaging should be attributed with the appropriate trademark symbol (refer to the Bandlink Logo) the first time it appears on each side of the package. Any Bandlink logo that is displayed on packaging should be attributed with the appropriate trademark symbol each time it appears on the package. An attribution footnote, which is most commonly combined with copyright and patent information, should reference each Bandlink Mark and Bandlink logo that appears on the packaging. Ordinarily, this footnote appears on the back of the packaging.
